little weekend getaway to the hill country

The kids thought getting to drive through a wildlife ranch

while hanging out of the car window was the coolest thing ever.

Even Lewie got a little taste of adventure.

Not my favorite animal. The kids thought it was hilarious that this guy really wanted to stick his head in my window when I didn't want him to. And then they thought it was even funnier when I panicked b/c I couldn't roll my window up. My sweet hubby had locked it on me. Funny guy.

things i love about isaac

10. i love how happy he is, his adorable belly laugh, and how much he really loves to laugh (i pray that his life is full of laughter)

8. i love how soft and sweet his skin feels and smells
7. i love that he adores Ava and wants to be with her all the time
6. i love that he holds my cheeks to give me kisses
5. i love that he laughs and tries to get away as soon as Mark says he's going to get him

things i love about ava

10. i love that she raises her eyebrows at you right before she gives you her mischievious smile
9. i love that she now grabs my cheeks with both of her little hands when she wants to give me a kiss
8. i love that i can hear her giggling with Elena in the other room while i'm working (i know i'm getting the best of both worlds)
7. i love that she smiles and kicks her feet with excitement when i walk into the room
6. i love that she laughs with a true hard belly laugh when mark tickles her
5. i absolutely love the way that she smells...i pray that i never forget that smell
4. i love that she likes to sleep with her hands behind her head like she's sleeping in a hammock
