Lewis made a surprise (10 days early) and quick (only 30 minutes at the hospital) entry into the world on Sunday, September 4. We are so grateful for God's blessing and protection.

Ava has been so excited about Baby JoJo. For the past few months at every sighting of a newborn baby, Ava comments, "Oh Mommy, look how cute. We're going to have one of those soon." It's been so fun to see her excitement grow over the past few months.
And now that he's here, she's even more excited than I expected. As Ava and I sat in the rocking chair snuggling Lewis the other night, I said, "Oh, Ava, isn't he just perfect?" And in typical Ava fashion, she flashed her sweet and sassy smile and said, "Well, Mommy, nobody is perfect. Only Jesus is perfect. But he is wonderful."

Congratulations on your sweet "Baby JoJo." I've been thinking about you so much lately, trying to remember when you were due. So happy to see that Lewis made his debut into this world safely and that he was greeted with lots of fanfare - just as it should be. =) Hope you are settling in at home and enjoying those precious babies of yours.
