We had so much fun at Ava's birthday party. We had burgers, hotdogs, cake, candy and tears. All of the things you expect at a first birthday party.



I had to tell Ava no once during the birthday song b/c she almost grabbed the flame of the candle, so of course, she burst into tears. Needless to say, she was not interested in our song or the cake.





Round two went much better...sans the candle.



We are incredibly thankful for Ava and the past year.



And for all the fun she adds to our lives.



And for so many great people that we were able to celebrate with.
