We spent a week in Canada in October. We got to spend Canadian Thanksgiving with family, go to the wedding of one of Mark's best friends, and celebrate Ava's birthday again.

So our little Houstonian didn't like the idea of a jacket.

Who does, really?

Ava loves birthday cake, but I think she loves birthday balloons even more.

Thankfully, our little munchkin is a great traveler. She was entertaining everyone around us. (It was her fifth or sixth flight afterall.)

Ava loved snuggling with Grandpa Zac (who she affectionately renamed Papa).

Ava met some new friends at the wedding. Bronwyn and Ava could be a dangerous pair on the volleyball court one day (just like their daddies once were).

Ava was totally spoiled with all of the attention.

things i love about isaac

10. i love how happy he is, his adorable belly laugh, and how much he really loves to laugh (i pray that his life is full of laughter)

8. i love how soft and sweet his skin feels and smells
7. i love that he adores Ava and wants to be with her all the time
6. i love that he holds my cheeks to give me kisses
5. i love that he laughs and tries to get away as soon as Mark says he's going to get him

things i love about ava

10. i love that she raises her eyebrows at you right before she gives you her mischievious smile
9. i love that she now grabs my cheeks with both of her little hands when she wants to give me a kiss
8. i love that i can hear her giggling with Elena in the other room while i'm working (i know i'm getting the best of both worlds)
7. i love that she smiles and kicks her feet with excitement when i walk into the room
6. i love that she laughs with a true hard belly laugh when mark tickles her
5. i absolutely love the way that she smells...i pray that i never forget that smell
4. i love that she likes to sleep with her hands behind her head like she's sleeping in a hammock
