super ava

Ava has bounced back from her little tonsil and ear surgery like a champ. We are so thankful for the strength that God has given to her little body.

She was so brave in surgery prep. I think she was actually excited to wear the hospital gown and hat. I was a little worried that I had misled her as to what was about to happen. The closest moment we had to tears was when she thought we had left Isaac at home alone.

We're so thankful for grandmas to help take care of us.

Only 3 hours after the surgery, Ava was ready for art with Meme!

She loves pretending to be Dr. Ava. After it all, she still says that Dr. Lewis is awesome.

things i love about isaac

10. i love how happy he is, his adorable belly laugh, and how much he really loves to laugh (i pray that his life is full of laughter)

5. i absolutely love the way that she smells...i pray that i never forget that smell
