christopher's first birthday at camp ozark

We headed up to Camp Ozark last weekend. Friday was Christopher's first birthday. We have really missed them this summer and it's only second session. I don't know who was more giddy to see the Tornlits, me or Ava.

Ava witnessed her first Ultimate Solution (well, most of it anyway). She and Caitie Sue did catch a little snooze.

Caroline is so big and is loving being a camper. She did beg me to leave Ava at camp for the rest of the summer. She was even trying to think through all of the logistics of how she could take care of her. Hopefully, one day Caroline will be Ava's counselor and will get to take care of her for me!

things i love about isaac

10. i love how happy he is, his adorable belly laugh, and how much he really loves to laugh (i pray that his life is full of laughter)

8. i love that i can hear her giggling with Elena in the other room while i'm working (i know i'm getting the best of both worlds)
7. i love that she smiles and kicks her feet with excitement when i walk into the room
6. i love that she laughs with a true hard belly laugh when mark tickles her
5. i absolutely love the way that she smells...i pray that i never forget that smell
4. i love that she likes to sleep with her hands behind her head like she's sleeping in a hammock
